Danny has a number of years experience working in the areas of agency and more recently property management having joined Parkinson back in 2011. Initially concentrating on agency work, supporting the senior Surveyors and agency team before acquiring his own Instructions and building up a client base to establish himself locally as a proficient commercial agent.

Danny has added to his experience having in recent years taken an active role in the property management department, assisting colleagues in the day to day duties before progressing to taking full control of the client files. As the main contact for clients and tenants across the varied portfolio to include single and multi-lets, he deals with matters relating to the commercial management generally along with the periodic statement preparation and associated financial reporting. Whilst seeking to provide advice, identify issues or opportunities where practicable with the aim being to add value to our client’s properties as part of Parkinson’s Asset Management offering.

He also obtained his ABBE Level 3 Certificate in Non-Domestic Energy Assessment providing experience and knowledge of Commercial EPC’s.

Recent Experience

Sales and Lettings

  • Acting on many local and regional commercial sales/letting transactions across various sectors and lot sizes to build a good market knowledge, reputation locally and client base to include repeat instructions.

Property Management

  • Dealing with day to day enquiries/issues on behalf of clients and their tenants, facilitating contractors to undertake refurbishment/repairs, overseeing the running and management of service charge provisions where applicable and general facilities management, property Inspections, lease appraisals, ensuring tenant compliance with their lease obligations, invoicing and collection of rental, insurance, service charges and other items associated within a lease.

Accounts / Credit Control

  • Dealing with the financial side of the property management and client account utilising our property management software to undertake preparation of quarterly statements detailing income and expenditure, accounting to clients for funds collected, recovery of account arrears, making payments on behalf of the clients to include processing and discharging disbursements and any statutory charges.
