Brexit not effecting demand in Residential development sites in the North West

Following the recent Brexit vote share prices for a number of the most well know house builders fell dramatically fuelling fears of a property crash. Parkinson are dealing with a number of strategic residential development sites, one off which being Phase 1 of the Landgate Site just off Junction 25 of the M6 providing the first 12.5 acres of a 60 Acre site. We have been in discussions for some time with 8 of the North Wests most active house builders who have shown a keen interest in the Landgate Site. We were, frankly, nervous as to their outlook post Brexit, however we were wrong to be as each one of the house builders were only too keen to emphasise that it is business as usual, their appetite in the North West remains strong, and they are confident that demand for their products will continue to be sound.

These statements, backed up by continued competitive offers received for sites such as the Landgate one mentioned above, allows Parkinson to provide confident advice to our clients that the market for Land, with the potential for residential development remains strong.
